The Role
The Digital Infrastructure Manager ensures the company’s digital and IT operations (across Belgium, USA, and the UK) are secure, efficient, scalable, and aligned with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and company-wide compliance objectives. This role bridges infrastructure, IT support, software strategy, and information security controls. It supports all teams across the business, manages IT vendors, and keeps the company’s digital stack fit-for-purpose and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
- Deliver reliable, responsive IT support across the organization (hardware, accounts, connectivity, onboarding/offboarding)
- Implement and maintain ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Manage endpoint security, backup & recovery systems, and device lifecycle (MDM/EDR tools)
- Maintain a centralized asset and configuration management system
Security & Compliance
- Implement and operate technical controls required under ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR (logging, access control, encryption)
- Support the VP of Legal & Risk in ensuring compliance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Execute IT tasks required by the DPO and legal for data privacy (data retention, access logs, audits)
IT Governance & Vendor Management
- Maintain documentation on system architecture, access rights, and IT policy compliance
- Manage contracts and performance of IT vendors, including cloud service providers, software tools, and MSPs
- Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and SaaS risk assessments
Tech Stack Strategy
- Ensure the company is using the right tools for the right purpose, evaluate and optimize the SaaS/software stack
- Reduce tool duplication and cost inefficiencies
- Stay up to date with the latest AI trends and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions (automation, AI copilots, productivity tools)
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as IT point of contact for HR, Legal, Product, and Operations
- Provide onboarding/offboarding IT support and access configuration
- Train non-technical employees on safe, compliant use of digital tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in IT administration, digital infrastructure, or systems management
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent process knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, endpoint protection, backup solutions, SaaS management
- Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR compliance environments
- Experience in startup/scale-up or highly regulated environments (MedTech, FinTech)
- Awareness of AI SaaS solutions, digital automation, and cloud-native tools
