Job Description: Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and revenue for our products. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing — ensuring that our solutions are clearly articulated, effectively launched, and fully supported across internal teams and customer-facing channels. The PMM will dive deep into the product, understand customer needs, and translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Own product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for current products, new product launches and feature releases.
- Partner with Product Management to align roadmap with market opportunities.
Sales Enablement
- Create training programs, playbooks, and collateral for Sales teams.
- Deliver ongoing enablement sessions to ensure reps can articulate value, handle objections, and close deals.
- Build ROI calculators, battlecards, and demo scripts to support the sales cycle.
Customer Success & Implementation Enablement
- Develop training materials and collateral for Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and implementation teams.
- Provide onboarding guides, adoption frameworks, and best practices to drive customer utilization.
- Partner with CS to identify customer advocacy opportunities (case studies, testimonials, references).
Customer-Facing Collateral
- Create product datasheets, solution briefs, FAQs, and training resources for customers.
- Develop webinars, tutorials, and learning modules to support customer education.
- Collaborate with Marketing to amplify customer success stories and product use cases.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product strategy.
- Monitor competitors and industry trends; develop competitive battlecards and positioning.
- Share insights with leadership to guide product and GTM decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing to ensure alignment across teams.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for needs and feedback.
- Provide leadership with reporting on product adoption, pipeline impact, and market traction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS or technology.
- Proven success in developing GTM strategies and launching products.
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience creating training programs and enablement collateral for Sales and CS teams.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
- Strong analytical skills with ability to measure impact and ROI.
